  • CLG Guidance for the awarding of ill health retirements in the FPS and NFPS
  • Please find attached the new CLG guidance on the regulations for the awarding of ill health retirements in the Firefighters’ Pension Scheme and the New Firefighters’ Pension Scheme.
  • The guidance to IQMPs document which was also discussed at Annual Conference will be discussed at the Firefighters’ Pension Committee meeting to be held on 19th November 2008. CLG have also confirmed that this guidance will be posted on their website.
  • Further information will follow this circular.
