• CLG Guidance for the awarding of ill health retirements in the FPS and NFPS
• Please find attached the new CLG guidance on the regulations for the awarding of ill health retirements in the Firefighters’ Pension Scheme and the New Firefighters’ Pension Scheme.
• The guidance to IQMPs document which was also discussed at Annual Conference will be discussed at the Firefighters’ Pension Committee meeting to be held on 19^th November 2008. CLG have also confirmed that this guidance will be posted on their website.
